Increasing awareness of climate change issues and options

Leading up to the discussions in Copenhagen, LFP published 2 papers entitled Can Nepal Benefit from Forest Carbon Financing? and Impact of Climate Change on Forests and Livelihoods: Issues and Options for Nepal.   Community forestry in Nepal and climate change are covered by a short DFID video “Climate change voices – Nepal.”   In addition community forestry is included in a DFID slideshow report from Nepal, explaining the challenges of climate change in Nepal and why an equitable deal from the Copenhagen conference is crucial.
